And, ...Thanks, Jamie. I will pick it the book up!

And, I will email you soon, out processing is causing us to be busy and last minute family visitors who feel the need to see us before we leave (although they didn't feel the need to see us while we were only 2 hours away for the last 4 years) are all flocking in! ;)Beloved's Redheaded Bridehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04580495512002708464noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5303691114524526411.post-37040806501012859602012-02-13T17:24:08.431-08:002012-02-13T17:24:08.431-08:00Confession time: I really like football :) I re...Confession time: I really like football :) I read Tony Dungy's book, A Quiet Strength, and I bawled. I've had my eye on Tim Tebow for a while (after I heard he was homeschooled!) so I had to read his book too. And again, I bawled! :) Tebow's book was more football than Dungy's, but it was awesome to read both of their stories and see what God is doing with the witnessing platforms He's given them!

The Little Prince (by de Saint Exupery, at the top of the stack) I read just because I never had. The Little Princess (Burnett) my girls all read for school (free reading) and LOVED.

I went book shopping this week...I'll post an update on THAT soon! :)Jamiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03327089832958243558noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5303691114524526411.post-65400660690160030522012-02-08T19:21:11.435-08:002012-02-08T19:21:11.435-08:00You crack me up! I was surprised at how poetic it was (Fitzgerald's translation), but at the same time it was gory and violent...an odd combination, but fascinating. The worst part was keeping all the interfering gods and godesses straight! :)Jamiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03327089832958243558noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5303691114524526411.post-34706842276140209222012-02-06T03:44:59.375-08:002012-02-06T03:44:59.375-08:00Awesome! :-) I read "The Aeneid" in coll...Awesome! :-) I read "The Aeneid" in college, but if my life depended upon it, I couldn't tell you what it was about. Sad, eh? Hooray for reading! :-)C.G. Koenshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13711072064525912284noreply@blogger.com
