I have NO idea how I managed to read this many books last month, but I got all the 5th grade books pre-read, so we're officially ready to start school next week!

Reading Record: June

I managed to work in a few books "just for me" in June,

and with any luck I'll finish previewing books

for 5th grade before we start school again in August!

(That Chesterton book on the top of the pile will be making a return appearance...

it's two books in one, and I've only read the first one.)

My Saturday Morning

After breakfast and chores were done Saturday morning, I curled up in my favorite chair to work on scheduling a few more books into our fifth grade curriculum.

My children had the entire house available to them for playing with their little plastic Cowboys and Indians...

and they chose the space right at my feet.

Organization and chaos...

Isn't that how Saturday mornings are supposed to be?!?

A Visit to the Dentist

We like the people at our dentist's office SO much that today we decided to go visit them even though we didn't have an appointment.

They were SO happy to see us that they took us right back to a chair.

And they like us SO much that they kept us for almost two hours.

Oh, and Daughter #3 got new front teeth while we were there!

(Emptying the dishwasher can be a dangerous job, especially when there are plastic cups to put away!)
