The sun was shining this morning, so I took my camera outside to get a few pictures.
It quickly became a bird-themed photo shoot.
...Wait a minute, what's that?!?
Sure look like chicks, don't they?
That's because they are!
We got 15 of them to start with...we'll see how many actually make it to adulthood!

Oh Wow! Are the kiddos excited to have little chicks around?
Excited would be an understatement! :) The girls told me tonight that now we just need a cow and a goat...so they can name them!
I won't let them name the chickens until we're "sure" they're going to make it...slightly less painful that way! :)
It sounds like they will be very loved! ;) Our oldest wants a horse but she will take about most anything at this point. She is a real "Ellie May".
